Sonia has walked my border collie, Meg, on numerous occasions and Meg has also had "sleepovers" with Poppy.  Sonia is a breath of fresh air when it comes to dog walking, she is not just a dog walker - she is a friend for life for your dog.  She treats the dogs as one of her own and always has their best interests and safety as priority.  She makes their walks fun and interesting.  She is great with all other dogs and welcomes all dogs when out walking with her own.  From young puppies to older dogs, Sonia is definitely more than capable of handling them and helping to train them if necessary.  Meg loves walking with Sonia and Poppy and I feel extremely happy and confident when they are out walking - I know Meg is in the safest of hands.  Sonia is reliable and always ready to help out if the need arises and more than willing to go the extra mile to make sure you and your dog are happy. I would definitely recommend Sonia, and I am sure if Meg could talk she would recommend her too!

Finding someone you trust to walk and look after your dog is a big, and sometimes difficult, decision. Sonia is the perfect person to do this. When my labradoodle, Pepper, was a puppy, Sonia helped out in a few emergency situations by coming to my house and keeping Pepper company; playing with her in the garden and making sure she was fed, watered and exercised! Having someone I could trust to do this meant a lot to me, especially as Pepper was so young. More recently, Sonia has taken Pepper on walks with her own wonderful dog, Poppy. Poppy is an incredibly sociable, gentle and obedient dog, who Pepper loves to play with. Whenever Pepper has been out walking with Sonia, I can always tell that she has had a great time - a wagging tail and an exhausted dog says it all! If you choose to trust your puppy or dog with Sonia, you won’t be disappointed. She is incredibly friendly, professional and cares very much about all the dogs who she looks after. You and your dog will be in very good hands!

I have known Sonia Newman for around 7 years both in her capacity as my children's teacher and more recently as a dog walking companion.  Our family recently acquired a rescue puppy, Archie and have been learning all over again how to manage and train a young dog. I started walking with Sonia and her own dog, who is well-trained with a wonderful temperament (the dog that is) and this has had a noticeably beneficial effect on Archie.  When I recently had to go away for a day, Sonia offered to look after Archie as she started out on her new venture of Dog walking.  Archie hardly had a backwards glance as he left our home and was returned to me afterwards, tired but happy.  I have no hesitation in recommending Sonia as a highly trustworthy, responsible and conscientious person to look after other peoples' dogs.

Sonia started walking our puppy Ollie when he was six months old. He was a happy, friendly, energetic dog, but was rather nervous of other dogs (mainly due to my worries and concerns rubbing off on him). Since Sonia has been walking him, he’s been transformed into a confident, obedient, bouncy pet.

Her help with both Ollie and us has made such a difference, she has instilled confidence in us as new dog owners and given Ollie such fun and great experiences.

It’s wonderful to know that when we are out at work and Ollie is at home, he’s being looked after, walked and loved by a competent, delightful dog lover. It takes the anxiety out of our days at work, knowing that our beloved pet is having a blast, returning to us, tired and happy and restful in the evening. I don’t know what we would have done without her.

Sonia has been walking my 11 month old dog, Bowser, for 2 months now.  Bowser and I are so very happy we found Sonia as, not only is she so reliable, but she really cares for Bowser as if he were her own.  When she brings him home, she always ensures that he is happy, comfortable and has plenty of water.  She also makes sure that you know what she has done with him. Whenever we bump into her, Bowser always shows how elated he is to see her and I can tell that Sonia is just as happy to see him.  It is so reassuring to know that he is being left in such caring, capable and knowledgeable hands. She varies where she takes the dogs for walks and gives them lots of stimulation and affection. She is professional and passionate about what she does. You only need to see her with the dogs to see that she cares about each and every one of them.
